Gratitude, so simple, so complex and so in the air this month. My heart and prayers go out to the people of Japan, to the people who were in Japan at the time of the earthquake, the tsunami, the nuclear plant explosions. My God how much more can they bear?
Another tough day in a hospital left me starting to feel a little “woe is me”, that lasted about 5 minutes before kicking myself in the derriere. We are grateful to have a loving family, medical insurance, good medical care available within 35 miles of our home, wonderful friends. On the way home we stopped for a much belated breakfast, dinner combo and even stopped and did a bit of grocery shopping. We have money to pay for good, healthy food, an abundance of it available for lots of choices and a warm house to come home to.
For this we are truly grateful!
